Keith joined Byrom Clark Roberts Forensic Division in 1997. Keith is married to Phillippa and is very proud of his four children.
Keith's first degree was in Architectural Engineering (Civil and Structural) at Leeds University. However, after a few days, Keith realised that his preference was for architecture and on completion of his degree commenced an architectural degree at, what is now, Leeds Metropolitan University. He then went on to undertake the Diploma in Architecture, and some years later, undertook a Diploma in Arbitration.
Keith is an Architect, Registered CDM Coordinator and On-Construction Domestic Energy Assessor.
Keith is a trained adjudicator, arbitrator and mediator and has undertaken expert determination. He also works as an expert in the following areas:
- Accommodation reports for disabled people
- Construction disputes
- Contract disputes
- Professional negligence disputes
- Right of Light, daylighting and sunlighting disputes
- Boundary disputes
- Slipping and tripping cases
Keith has also given evidence in the practice of, what is now, CDM coordination. He has also appeared on television with regard to "dodgy builders".
Keith has had a long-held passion for energy conservation, having written dissertations at University in the 70s on such matters. It is for this reason, that he became an Energy Assessor with the NHER in 1994.
Keith was the regional chair of the North West Branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators between 2012 and 2014.
