Andrew joined the partnership of Byrom Hill in Manchester in 1984 and became a Director of Byrom Clark in 1989. He was appointed Managing Director of Byrom Clark Roberts in 2002 and has served in this position until June 2016 handing over to Director Paul Vipond. Andrew is now a Consultant to the Practice.
Andrew began his architectural career within the Architects Department of Derbyshire County Council in 1974 as a trainee architectural technician. He achieved ONC and HNC Certificates in Building Construction from Chesterfield College of Technology before obtaining BA (Hons) Degree and Graduate Diploma in Architecture at Manchester Polytechnic, (now Manchester Metropolitan University).
Until September 2016 Andrew has led the Architectural Division of Byrom Clark Roberts. Having worked on many building types with experience of Education, Industrial and Health Care Sectors he has specialised in the design and development of Church and Community buildings. He has undertaken a wide range of church development projects including the repair and reordering of historic buildings through to the design of major new build projects including a 1,000 seat auditorium for Bridge Community Church in Leeds completed in 2016. He has been a member of the North Western Baptist Association Building and Advisory Committee since 1999.
Andrew is now serving the church in other ways having been appointed to the role of Assistant Minister and Altrincham Baptist Church in May 2016 and commencing Ordination Training at Northern Baptist College in Manchester.
