Andrew joined the Structural Engineering Division of Byrom Clark Roberts in 1989. Andrew is married to Claire and has two grown up children.

Andrew's Degree was in Civil & Structural Engineering at Bradford University. However, since that time his focus is on Structural Engineering combining a range of design and project services on a series of large design projects in the early years of his career.

Andrew is a Chartered Civil Engineer with a specialism in structures and a trained Mediator. He is Divisional Director responsible for structural projects across a range of building types. He provides expert reports on a wide range of building disputes in the following areas:

  • Defective design and construction

  • Building collapse

  • Subsidence damage

  • Landslip failure

  • Third Party recovery action

  • Flooding claims

He has acted as Mediator in construction cases as well as acting for Insurers on large complaint losses.
